cure for the common cold

I was hunting for a speedy cure of the common cold, and found one that I liked.

Prerequisites
1. A bottle of whisky
2. A four poster bed
3. A hat

Procedure
Put the hat on one of the corner poles of the bed and drink the whisky till you see two hats.

Maybe I should do that every day to prevent cold.
